Piquant Cuisine offers hands-on cooking classes to the novice and the seasoned cook in a relaxed setting. If you have always dreamt of becoming a chef this is the time to indulge in the pleasure of cooking. Each class is hands-on and interactive, complete with recipes, materials and food.Tease out your inner chef, trust your instincts & create! Think outside the cookbook! Throw away the tablespoons!
Add a swirl of Olive Oil, a toss of salt, a squeeze of lemon or a sprinkle of cilantro. Of course, measure when it is necessary, but most of the time, you know how much to add. Slice and dice like a Pro! Sure, rapid-fire cutting with an 8 inch chef’s knife sure looks cool, but when you do it properly it is super efficient. Also: How to flip ingredients in a sauté pan, to know when meat is ready to take off the grill, etc. Using the proper technique is always taught. Why add the butter before the eggs? Ah yes, when you understand the reasons behind doing things, you are liberated & can trust your innovative spirit! Cooking mysteries are unraveled!

With a little instruction, anyone can be a Piquant Cook– and that’s what we’re all about. We’re empowering aspiring chefs to take up the spatula and reclaim cooking for the 21st century ~ and we have a blast doing it, too!
Our team is all professionally or traditionally trained Chefs with a talent for making cooking a fun experience. We have day and evening classes and can accommodate up to 4 at a time at the Lakeland location. Contact us as soon as possible as time slots are filling up quickly.
• Each class has a set price of $75, which includes healthy, fresh & organic ingredients, supplies & beverages
• Sushi classes are available for $125 per class
• Small classes, hands-on instruction
• All levels welcome
• Recipes and materials provided after each session
• You may enjoy the food during class, prepare it to take home, or for an additional fee – cook for your whole family.
• Have a large kitchen? Host a cooking class at home for a group of your friends.
• Learn all types of cuisines tailored exclusively to your taste.
• Children classes are also available for up to groups of 6
